angelsfxpwhitebluesmall“Spotlight on SFXP” was a great success! The multitude of talent displayed was amazing, and the show ran quite smoothly. The enthusiastic audience support was greatly appreciated by all the performers. Many thanks to James Ruberti for being a wonderful host, to Joey Bearse for coordinating sound, and to alumnus Kevin Shanley for the technology support. The council hopes next year will be just as wonderful.

Field day is scheduled for Friday, May 21. The council has been discussing events, and perhaps a few surprises, for this fun-filled day. Eighth grade captains will have chosen their teams prior to their Washington trip.  Further information will be available soon. The council members are certain that this day will be a blast and are hoping for a sunny day!

With construction on South Street, High School Road, and High School Road extension in progress, the Student Council is cautioning everyone to be vigilant about following the traffic patterns in the handbook.   All students should enter by way of Pine Street, with fifth and sixth grade students entering through the front of the school. All seventh and eighth grade students and mixed carpool groups should use the back entrance. This would be greatly appreciated.

Suggestions are always welcome. The suggestion boxes are located in all four language arts/reading rooms and outside Mr. Deburro’s office. Help us to make our school a better place.

“Little Acts of Kindness” boxes are located in both of the religion rooms, and signs reminding people to be kind to each other have been posted.  The council would like students to write down any acts of kindness they see and put them in one of those boxes. Hopefully, this will promote kindness inside and outside our school.

May this fourth quarter bring your year to a successful and productive conclusion.

Our Mission

Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School is a faith community rooted in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. We are committed to meeting the needs of early adolescents, grades five through eight, throughout Cape Cod. We seek to provide a challenging curriculum which will prepare students for success in competitive secondary school environments. We seek to foster academic excellence and to promote harmony with self, with others, and with God in a caring environment centered on the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
