The members of the National Junior Honor Society would like to thank all the volunteers who donated food and drinks and to those who came and sold snacks at High School Musical. We raised $750.00 which will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod. We would also like to congratulate those who performed in the show. You were spectacular!

The officers, Patrick McLaughlin, Moira Gattoni, James Ruberti, and Zoe Calianos, attended the sixth grade retreat on Thursday, March 25. They provided the members of the class of 2012 with great examples of leadership and witnesses to their faith. The officers led a discussion about the increasing role of leadership and responsibility that comes with becoming upper classmen at SFXP.

Upcoming this month, those members old enough to participate (at least fourteen) are hoping to volunteer at a site to help build a new house for Habitat for Humanity. This will be a great opportunity to be of service within our community.

Also, a reminder to all current seventh grade members of NJHS that elections for next year's officers will be held the first week in May. Nominations will take place during the last week in April. This is a great opportunity for an increased role in leadership as members begin looking towards their eighth grade year.

As always, the tutoring program is very busy. A reminder to all students that if you would like a tutor, to contact either Mrs. Battles or Mrs. Eager. Also, a reminder to those already tutoring and being tutored, please contact each other if a cancellation is necessary.

-Zoe Calianos, NJHS secretary

Our Mission

Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School is a faith community rooted in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. We are committed to meeting the needs of early adolescents, grades five through eight, throughout Cape Cod. We seek to provide a challenging curriculum which will prepare students for success in competitive secondary school environments. We seek to foster academic excellence and to promote harmony with self, with others, and with God in a caring environment centered on the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
