Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School. SFXP is dedicated to the academic, social, and spiritual growth of early adolescents. We have high expectations of our students and apply high standards for ourselves. I invite you to become more familiar with our school as you investigate the academic choices for your child's very important middle school years.
Shortly after the start of the new calendar year, we begin our application process for the next academic year. The application process involves three essential steps:
- First, we must receive a copy of your child's current school record, including the final report card and any standardized testing (e.g. Iowa, Stanford, MCAS, etc.). A release of records form is included with this application form. Simply complete the form and send it to your child's current school.
- Second, we must receive the fully completed application form.
- Finally, when those items are received, you will be contacted to arrange for a personal interview with you and your child.
A $50.00 application processing fee must accompany the application form, which may be obtained by calling the school.
Families who complete the application process by the end of March, including the interview, will be notified during the first week of April.
Admission to Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School is competitive. We make a daily commitment to excellence. What we do best is to prepare middle level students for the rigors of a challenging secondary school environment. We do not offer an adjusted curriculum or alternate programs for testing or grading. Students applying for admission should be capable of keeping up with the academic demands of the school. Our staff promotes social, spiritual, and academic growth in the early adolescents we serve. We expect our families and our students to make the commitment as well.
