Advisory Board Members

Dr. Craig Cornwall

Dr. Craig Cornwall has three daughters at SFXP in grades 5, 7, and 8, and along with his wife Maria, they reside in Centerville.   Craig and his family moved to Cape Cod  after he completed his Emergency Medicine training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and have been here for 13 years.  Craig works at Cape Cod Hospital as an Emergency Physician and has served on a number of hospital committees including Chairman of the Credentials Committee and 5 + years on the Board of Trustees.  Craig has enjoyed coaching the SFXP girls soccer team for the last 3 years.
 

Mr. Eric Risley

Mr. Eric Risley is a two-year member of the school board.  Responsible for lending over $1 billion since 1986 throughout New England, he is founder and president of Advantage Mortgage Corporation in West Dennis. Additionally, Mr. Risley founded Aclient Software Systems, Inc. in 2006, offering client relationship management software and referral building systems to assist businesses in growing their markets.  He is a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and resides in West Barnstable with his wife, Rhonda, and four children.  Currently, his daughter Christina ‘11 is enjoying the St. Francis experience, while sons E.J ‘06 and Jarrod '09, are attending BC High. Their eldest daughter, Alexandra, is attending Holy Cross College.  Over the years he has been actively involved in numerous school campaigns.  He served on the principal search committee at BWB Elementary.  He chaired for six seasons the soccer program at Barnstable-West Barnstable Elementary (BWB) and along with his wife, raised $35,000 and coordinated and installed a handicapped accessible playground at BWB.
 

Mr. Gregory Egan

Mr. Gregory R. Egan has been on the Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School Board for two years. A graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy, he is the Vice President and General Manager of Crosby Yacht Yard, Inc. in Osterville. Mr. Egan serves on other professional and community Boards, is a member of the Barnstable-West Barnstable Elementary School Council, and helps coach youth athletics. He is a parishioner at Our Lady of Victory Church. Mr. Egan resides in West Barnstable with his wife Nancy and four children; daughter Margaret currently attends SFXP.
 

Mr. James Della Morte

Mr. James Della Morte is in his third year as a member of the SFXP school board. He is the father of Elizabeth, a sixth grader, and Joseph, an eighth grader at SFXP. His daughter Celesta is an alumni of the Class of '08. Mr. Della Morte is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is self - employed as a software engineering consultant. He serves as an MIT Educational Counselor, interviewing and advising prospective MIT students from high schools around Cape Cod. A native Cape Codder, he lives in West Barnstable with his wife and 5 children.
 

Mr. Jonathan Farnham

Mr. Jonathan Farnham joined the SFXP School Board in 2006.  He sits on the Planning and Financial Endowment Subcommittees.  He attended UMass Amherst majoring in Hotel, Restaurant Business Management.  Jonathan has a daughter, Ashleigh, who graduated last year from SFXP, and a son, Chris, a graduate of Bishop Stang High School. Jonathan and his wife Holly are both native to Centerville and spent more than fifteen years in New Hampshire.  They moved back home three years ago.  Jonathan built a successful Ameriprise Financial investment practice in NH and now has moved his practice to Chatham.  While living in NH, Jonathan was active in coaching soccer and baseball for his children, and taught financial classes to middle and high school students.   He also has been a member of several civic and business organizations.
 

Mr. Michael Kiceluk

Mr. Michael Kiceluk graduated from Bloomsburg College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance.  He has also attained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, a highly regarded distinction in the investment community.  Michael currently is a member of Cape Cod Five's Trust and Asset Management team serving as the Chief Investment Officer. His responsibilities currently involve investing client assets and overseeing the equity selection process. Michael currently serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee on the Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory Advisory board. He has also had the opportunity to be a part of the Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School girls basketball program. Michael spent the early part of his life in Pennsylvania, but currently lives in Marstons Mills with his wife Ann and their three daughters, Kelly, Kristin ‘04 and Colleen ‘07, all of whom are Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School alumni.
 

Mr. Timothy T. Telman

Mr. Timothy T. Telman is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder of Bank of Cape Cod, where he directs the strategy and daily operations of the bank. He drove the establishment, organization and capital raising efforts to create the bank garnering $14.1 million to realize the project.  His prior experience was first as a commercial banker and then as a local businessman. As a banker, he served in various senior positions with Bank of New England, Bank of Boston, and Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.  As a local businessman, he served as Chief Financial Officer and as a founding member of Aptium LLC.  Prior to his tenure at Aptium, Mr. Telman was co-owner and Chief Financial Officer of Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises, a Cape Cod based tourist attraction.   Mr. Telman has been active in youth sports for the YMCA, Barnstable Little League, Barnstable Youth Soccer and Barnstable AAU Basketball. He is also an active board member for the Marstons Mills East Horace Mann Public Charter School, the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, and a member of the Advisory Board for Sturgis Public Charter School. He resides in Barnstable with his wife Mary Catherine and their two sons, Sam, an eighth grader, and Jack, a sixth grader at SFXP.
 

Mrs. Amy Landry

Mrs. Amy Landry is a three-year member of the SFXP School Board .  She is the mother of four SFXP students.  Jack, her oldest child, is an eighth grader, daughter Addison, a seventh grader, and twins Nick and Will are fifth graders.  Mrs. Landry is a graduate of Boston University Sargent College of Allied Health Professions and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.  After working in her profession for ten years at Falmouth Hospital and the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod, she dedicated her love and time to raising her children at home.  Presently, as a full time mother of six, Amy devotes her time to her family and volunteers in her children’s schools and extra-curricular activities as often as she can.  Amy and her husband Kevin live in North Falmouth with their children and are members of Saint Elizabeth Seton Church.
 

Mrs. Anastasia Welsh Perrino

Mrs. Anastasia Welsh Perrino is currently an Assistant Register at the Barnstable Probate and Family Court having been appointed to that position by the First Justice of that Court in February 2003. Prior to this appointment, Mrs. Perrino practiced law on the Cape for fourteen years in Orleans and Yarmouth Port, concentrating primarily in the areas of probate law, estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, guardianship, and Elder Law. She is currently a candidate for Barnstable County Register of Probate which is the head of the Office and Court Staff at the Probate and Family Court. Mrs. Perrino is the immediate past president of the Barnstable County Bar Association and has been involved extensively in her community, having served as a past Director of Nauset, Inc, (now Cape Abilities), and of Independence House, Inc.  She is a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School.  Mrs. Perrino is married to Thomas J. Perrino, an attorney in private practice in Yarmouth Port. Their son Andrew graduated from SFXP in June 2008, and son, Matthew is currently a seventh grader at SFXP.  As a family they enjoy skiing together and vacations with extended family and friends.

 

Mrs. Mary Gaffney

Mrs. Mary Gaffney has been on the School Board for six years, having served as secretary for two years and as chair for the last three years.  She also serves on several of the Board’s  Committees.  A graduate of Brown University and Suffolk Law School, Mary is a practicing attorney in Sandwich, focusing on estate planning and administration as well as mediation, guardian ad litem and children’s attorney appointments in the state’s probate courts.  Mary and her husband, Owen, have three children, all of whom attend St. Francis Xavier Preparatory School.  Mary and her family are members of Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich, and they enjoy spending time with their extended families on the Cape during the summer and skiing in Vermont during the winter.
 

Mrs. Patti DeRosa-Lotane

Mrs. DeRosa-Lotane is a Vice President of Mortgage Banking, Cape Cod at Eastern Bank, formerly known as Plymouth Savings Bank.  She has been with this company for more than seventeen years.  Mrs. Lotane is the mother of four children, Rebecca, Emily, Jillian, and Patrick, all of whom are alumni of our school.  Her husband, Michael, a real estate agent with over twenty years’ experience, is employed with Today Real Estate in Yarmouth.

Our Mission

Saint Francis Xavier Preparatory School is a faith community rooted in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. We are committed to meeting the needs of early adolescents, grades five through eight, throughout Cape Cod. We seek to provide a challenging curriculum which will prepare students for success in competitive secondary school environments. We seek to foster academic excellence and to promote harmony with self, with others, and with God in a caring environment centered on the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
